Banana Bread

Never ever throw away your ripe #banana. Use it to bake banana bread/cake or steam banana cake.
It doesn't need a mixer, a whisk is enough to mix the ingredients.




Ingredients: 1st version of chocolate #bananabread



2 pieces ripe bananas
200 gram all purpose flour
2 eggs
125 gram sugar
100 gram melted margarine/butter
1/4 tsp cinnamon powder
1 tsp cocoa powder (optional)
1/2 tsp baking powder

Method:

Preheat oven at 180C
1. Mix the eggs and sugar, whisk it well
2. Add the melted margarine/butter into it. Whisk it well.
3.  Add the sifted all purpose flour, cinnamon powder, cocoa powder and baking powder.
4. Whisk it well.
5. Add the mashed bananas into it.
6. Pour the batter into greased baking loaf tin (20cm x 5 cm) or baking tin covered with baking paper.
7. Bake it at 180 C for 50-55 minutes.
8. After 50 minutes, get a wooden stick and stick it in the cake and it should come out clean.
9. Switch off the oven and let the cake for another minutes in the oven.
10. Remove it out from the oven and let it cool down completely before slicing it.


Ingredients: 2nd version of almond #bananabread


2 pieces ripe bananas

50 gram fine chopped almond (optional)
1/2 tsp baking powder

Method: (The same method as above)

Preheat oven at 180C

3.  Add the sifted all purpose flour, cinnamon powder and baking powder.
4. Whisk it well.
5. Add fine chopped almond and the mashed bananas into it.
6. Pour the batter into greased baking loaf tin (20cm x 5 cm) or baking tin covered with baking paper.
